  1. Global Warming.
  2. Wildlife conservation efforts.
  3. Plausible energy sources (which of the many options will really help the both economy and the environment?)
  4. Green revolution versus organic farming.

  I suggest going to The Economist%26#039;s website. There are excellent resources for environmental issues there. I%26#039;m a bio major. I live in the Philippines which is one of the declared mega-hotspots for biodiversity insamuch as it is also one of the countries with a less active government in terms of solving environmental issues in general.
