No country that has had properly managed, and regulated hunting has had any problems. Why do you think there are more whitetail deer now than when the Pilgrims landed? 40% 2 Votes

  • Hunting does not destroy fauna. It is global sprawl and the movement into the farm land and forests that harm endangered species. If anything, by hunting the animals that eat the fauna they are saving the fauna by controlling the animal population. It is figured that in Ohio and Pennsylvania both have a larger deer population than before white man appeared since we have killed off the natural hunters of these animals. 0% 0 Votes
  • Not recently. Wild boars and wolves in England hundreds of years ago, but that is an island and they were trying to get rid of them. Maybe the dodo but that is debatable. Habitat loss and introduced species are the main causes of extinction. And regulated hunting provides most of the funding for conservation. 20% 1 Vote
  • I suppose your against hunting. Let me enlighten you about something. Hunters today ensure that animals are managed and lands are protected form sprawling communities. We as hunters contribute millions of dollars to conservation and protection of land and animals. So please don%26#039;t blame hunters for this, blame the people that need shopping malls and parking lots. 20% 1 Vote
  • Due to hunting? None. Due to encroaching %26quot;sprawl%26quot;, anywhere in the civilized world. Animals are being run out of their habitats by construction (housing, commercial, roads, etc) more than being killed off by hunting. Welcome to the real world. 0% 0 Votes
  • Henry above here is correct. Although there is a kind of pigeon that is extinct it wasn%26#039;t from over hunting. And isn%26#039;t fauna plants? I know of no way to judge extinction of fauna. That would require vast observation or general climatic cataclysms. 20% 1 Vote
