What is the proper disposal of used old batteries? Can we dispose our used batterris by returning to its manufacturer?
Will that be a good idea because we love our mother earth..we need experts to help us dispose dangrous chemicals...

Instead of throeing try to sell it for a price. They will use it for proper recycling. My knowledge.

• Reccling and the other one is by passing them to the factory to reuse the item
• You can always recyle them.
• Most stores that specialize in selling car batteries will take your used regular alkaline. Call around and see who takes them. You are very right they are bad news in landfills.
• I´ve seen at walmart where they sell cellphones and electronics there are free prepayed envelopes where you can put them and mail them to recycling
