What is this brightly colored bird I am seeing in Florida? This bird has the coloration of a metalic-like parrot (blue, green, red and maybe a little yellow) but it is not shaped like a parrot at all...

• I would agree with the possibility of a painted bunting. Being in Florida it could be an escapee from a collection or zoo as well. There%26#039;s lots of exotic species surviving and breeding in Florida.
