Wild life conservation is simply working to keep the various species of animals in the world living. This means making sure that they have a place TO live. Many species can only live in certain areas. Having those areas clear cut for homes and cities means no homes for the animals. This means that they die. If they die, the animals that used to eat them now face problems. If their diet is broad enough, they can recover. If however, they are specialists and the newly extinct species made up the majority of their diet, they too can die.
