Wow, I have so much in common with you! That is exactly what I want to do. hmm, I have heard that the WWF(World Wildlife Federation) offers various internships to get started off. For now you can go to your local zoo to find out more... Also, travel to various places and become familiar with the species you want to save. In fact, I will be traveling to Costa Rica soon. The rain forest holds so much diversity! Oh, it never hurts to have a few pets. They are fun and you gain experience and responsibility.
