What would have happended if resources would have disappeared? 0% 0 Votes
  • Really bad stuff would happen if we%26#039;re dealing with our current civilization.

If we never had them, you%26#039;d not have a computer to ask the question. You%26#039;d not even be able to dream of the concept of a computer. You%26#039;d be more worried about the demands of the day%26#039;s tasks of searching for food or staying warm in a society somewhere between %26quot;hunter-gatherer%26quot; and pre 1800%26#039;s.

If we suddenly ran out of %26quot;resources%26quot; this morning, it depends on what resources. The stuff required to keep our society going today? Our society would change radically within months and evolve to something else. Electricity would go without natural gas, coal, oil, hydroelectric, and nukes. Expect to get very hungry without fuel for farm equipment and trucks / trains for the short term. We couldn%26#039;t support or population. Expect to recycle everything. Enjoy that computer while you can, between the loss of electricity and an inability to cheaply replace it when it breaks...Don%26#039;t get sick or injured. Hospitals with modern meds will go away within months. Don%26#039;t drive that car! Sell it for a good bike and a horse. You need that horse for plowing and heavy pulling.

Go ask your grandparents about what consumer goods were available when they were kids. You%26#039;ll have to learn to live without a lot of stuff we take for granted today. There%26#039;d be plenty of technology available but I think it would best be reserved for areas where it best serve the masses. 17% 1 Vote
  • today mankind is faced with adverse consequences of population explosion in many ways.rapid rate of industrialization, urbanisation, agricultural development and population growth has put a great pressure on the use of land, water etc.this has resulted in the degradation of land through exploitation of forest resources ,soil erosion etc.

    need to manage our resources:-

    1) our natural resources are limited with the rapid increase in human population. due to improvement in health care, the demand for all resources is also increasing day by day.
    2) management of natural resources requires long term perspective to meet the needs and aspirations of future generations.
    3) natural resources should be managed in such a way that everyone of the society is benefited from its development.
4)the waste generated from exploitation of natural resources should be disposed off safely. for instance, mining causes pollution due to discard of large amount of slag during metal extraction.

    hope this helps you.
thus, we need to save our resources and understand their importance. its my mind...my thinking! 0% 0 Votes
  • The scary truth is you most likely will find out in your lifetime.

As of 2000 there were 6 billion people, they estimate that will double every 15 years. So think about the present and the amount of excessive greed there is now. Multiply that a few times. Scary thought isn%26#039;t it? 17% 1 Vote
