Whats the political impact on the karner blue butterfly? Im doing a biology project on an endangered species in Illinois, i chose the karner blue butterfly. I need to know the political impact on the butterfly, i have no idea what do write..can any one help? please!

• Any kind of butterfly plays an important role in the pollination of flowers. They are also a source of food for certain insects. Unfortunately, when one species is lost it can have an unmeasurable impact on other plant and animals in the ecosystem around it. • We have the same species in Wisconsin. Here the political impact is mainly on public lands. We are working hard to provide suitable habitat for these butterflies, and in order to do that, we have to adjust land management on many areas of public land. Some federal requirements for this species could be considered political I suppose. We are mandated to achieve a specific population of these butterflies and maintain them as part of our Habitat Conservation Plan. Your state dept. of natural resources should have information on their website, if not, check out either Michigan or Wisconsin%26#039;s DNR sites.
