Where can I get Fire management accreditation for the Parks %26amp; Wildlife Service in NSW? I want to be a ranger. They need level 1 Fire management accreditation. I%26#039;ve looked everywhere in NSW (on the web) and can%26#039;t find anything.

Excuse my obviousness, but if you can%26#039;t find the information online, you will have to try and get it from live people. First see if there is a contact for the Ranger job posting. The recruiter should know where to get a required accredidation. If there is no contact, try calling the Parks and Wildlife Service directly. If they person who answers doesn%26#039;t know, ask them who would know. As a last resort try finding people on professional sites that claim to have similar experience and contact them. 100% 2 Votes

• I believe that the first step is becoming a certified wildland firefighter. It%26#039;s not a difficult process - usually only a week-long set of courses at a wildland fire academy.
