Where can I reycle Cosmetic containers? I am an Avon rep and I would like to know how I can recycle old compacts and lipstick tubes and other things of that nature. Can I just take it to the regular recycle place? If anyone knows info about this that would be great! I would like to offer an incentive to customers that bring me their used containers so I can recycle them.

A lot of times, a local drug store will take used cosmetic containers. My wife gives her lipstick containers to our local drug store and they always find ways to use it.

I will call the local Walgreens or CVS and see if they do that, this seems like the most simple and logical thing to do.

• My wife and I are very recycle conscious, we always are thinking about our surroundings and the environment. This is really good of you to try to recycle all the old products, and give some incentive to the customers for recycling them as well. What i would suggest is that you just take them down to your local recycling center. All plastics come with a recycle code on the bottom, indicating if you can recycle them or not. The local recycling center will be glad to take them off your hands and give you money in return...best of luck!
• check with local recylcer - you may be able to simply place in with your other recycable material.
