• in most countries there is an office in the government who is responsible for the environment, nature reserves, pollution, etc.

• The biggest polluters and destructors have been the corporations.
  
  When caught, they pay fines.
  
  The fines they pay are usually of no significance, and they generally go about doing their dirty deeds BECAUSE your elected officials get fed by them.
  
  The best way to circumvent their wrong doing is to write to your elected officials and explain that you only will keep them in office if they vote to increase fines to the point where less burden is placed on you to pay the I.R.S.
  
  i.e. Instead of fining Exxon a mere two billion dollars for the 1989 disaster in Alaska, they should be paying thirty, or forty billion dollars...because that%26#039;s how much destruction was made.
  
  The major corporation now known as Exxon Mobil has profits of about forty billion dollars per year.
  
  Their C.E.O. retired on about $119.00 per minute income...which includes bedtime and toilet time as well.

  Now can you see the gross problem, and how our environment is being depleted by corporate negligence?
  
  Instead of government looking at YOU to save and conserve, why not start with those who do the most polluting?
