I liked him and what he worked towards, but I heard Australians were embarrassed about him because he reinforced every last stereotype about Aussie people possible, like they all live in the Outback and wear nothing but khaki safari gear and always are highly excitable, always shouting %26quot;Crikey!!%26quot; and such.

Ditto. Best way to show love for him is to continue his passion. I hope we all do.

I loved him.. He was a very incredible compassionate person.. He really loved this planet and cared for his beloved animals. He will be missed..
-
Yea, that was very sad :(
I feel bad too. -
I assume his wife and daughter loved him. I really did not know the man, having never met him, so I could not possibly love him. I did like his work.

He was a very brave man. I loved watching his show, because he did some of the most dangerous things, and it kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time (well, most of the time. Not all the animals were dangerous...) He was a good man, and sounds like a good father too. We will all miss him dearly...

loved him...no, better would be worshiped him.my dad has worked with him for years as a conservationist and a slat water crocodile expert. i was lucky to meet him many times.

I admired him and it upset me a great deal when he died = (
he was a great guy and did everything he could for the animals of the world. -
I dind%26#039;t loved him, I neither liked hes show, not saying he wasn%26#039;t good or anything, I guess he was a very .. very... ummm... especial person lol a person who would dare to do crazy stuff lol

Steve Irwin is sorely missed. He was such an animal lover and conservationist that helped animals all over the world.

I didn%26#039;t get sad one bit. It was just another person to me. I didn%26#039;t know him. He exploited animals in their natural habitats. I can%26#039;t say he deserved it, because nobody deserves that, but he got what was coming to him.
Personal opinion

Loved him but no, he got killed by a sting ray. I once got stabbed by that thing, it hurts, but i survive. Of all of the most adventurous things he has done, he just can%26#039;t resist to be killed by a pathetic fish that humans commonly eat. Hate the meat anyways.

He was a pleasure to watch and did so much for so many animals. It is a shame he is gone but the good thing is that his family is doing well and carrying on his work. (Have you seen his daughter? She is adorable and just like him!).

Yes, I loved him even more after I watched The Jeff Corwin Experience. No one can get as enthusiastic as Steve did.
