Why does deforestation occur%26#039;? i am doing an essay and need a mega amount of help :)

any information on the reasons behind deforestation would be great.

Deforestation usually occurs for one of two main reasons. One is the deliberate removal and cutting down of trees. Human beings are the perpetrators, and it is done mostly in response to the demands of the housing and construction industry. Trees are cut down, to a lesser extent, for fuel to burn in the heating of houses and stoves.

Deforestation also occurs due to forest fires. Some of them are caused by carelessness on the part of human beings. Others start due to natural causes such as lightening. They may appear to begin spontaneously.

Problems begin to surface when forests are removed or destroyed faster than they are replaced, and the ecosystem of which they were a part is changed. 0% 0 Votes

anyway, deforestation, occurs becasue fo so many reasons.

we(humans) are already TOO MANY consuming TOO MUCH, TOO FAST.

we are craving for more CONSUMER GOODS and the companies are casuing these deforestation.

take for example the UNILEVER, makers of Dove, Knorr and other products. well, it turns out that one of their resources for a raw material of PALM OIL, is being extracted in Borneo, what they do in Borneo is they clear up forest just to make palm oil plantations the Orangutans their are now being extinct. and why do they create these products?%26gt; because WE CRAVE FOR IT.

KFC, and other companies MC Donalds there have been evidences that the feeds(forgot the right term) that they used(produced by a company that i also forgot the name) for their chickens are also coming from cleared forest for these plantations of Soya i think is the feed.

Deforestation occures due to cutting down of trees. People cut down trees for their use like to make furniture, for fuel, paper, etc.; but they don%26#039;t plant more plants and trees which makes soil loose results occurrence of floods, storms, etc. 0% 0 Votes
