remember @ 800 billion barrels, that is about 3 TIMES the saudi%26#039;s reserves.
after thats gone, in another 100+ years there is always thermal polymerization

so in reality, the simple minded amongst us are duped and parroting the %26quot;truth%26quot; w/o studying the facts.
here%26#039;s a lil article to ruffle the brain dead:
World Has Ample Oil.
Alarmists have said the world is running out of oil: Some saying that we are on the back side of the production curve with only 10 or 20 years left before there are shortages. This is not what the USGS found when it studied the impact of new extraction technologies that have increased the proven reserves and when it examined the world for undiscovered reserves.
The USGS survey in 2000 indicated that there are about 2120 billion gallons of proven and undiscovered reserves of oil outside the United States . This compares with the 539 Billion barrels of oil produced outside the US over the past 100 years.
This is relevant now, as the ready availability of oil will (other than in times of world tension) keep the price of oil down and continue to make it difficult for alternatives, such as hydrogen fuel cells, to be economically competitive. It also emphasizes the importance of drilling and exploring to find the oil we know is there.

The problem is that many feel we should lower our use of oil for both national security and environmental reasons. 0% 0 Votes
