Would you save money manually flushing? I have an automatic flush, but i can manually flush it, will this save me money or does it not matter?

Best Answer

You want to save water each time you are flushing: here is a very simple and cheap way: put a brick in the flush box. Each time you flush you will save an amount of water equal to the volume of the brick.

  • the consumer cost of most public water systems is based on estimates of use or a flat fee, not on actual individual use, so no, it won%26#039;t save you any money.

What%26#039;s more important is water conservation, so i suggest flushing only when necessary...if it%26#039;s yellow, let it mellow, if it%26#039;s brown, flush it down!
  • Each time you flush, weather automatically or manually, the same amount of water is used.
  • flushing takes quite a lot of litres of water. maybe get a low or dual flush.
