• Al Gore did not invent the internet and he never claimed to. He set on a senate comittee that appropriated funding for the military to research and develop the internet. He mentioned it in a speech and the internet took this and created a myth.
  
  If every day people had an example of how global warming was effecting them then don%26#039;t you think scientists would be in Kansas proving it instead of going to the artic? It%26#039;s real, believe it and support the movement. In fact how can saving tree%26#039;s, wildlife, and generating energy by a means that does not pollute the air we breath be a bad thing?
  
  Oh and CFC%26#039;s were destroying the ozone layer but since they were banned/restricted the holes in the ozone peaked in their weakness this last year and are beginning to slowly recover.

• Global warming affects our family, last summer it did not rain for over 100 days, Our county and surrounding were put on a water emergency. We couldn%26#039;t use extra water to water the lawn or fill the pool. It was bad.

• NO. I know AL Gore didnt invent the internet. Thats just silly. There are many examples of global warming. Ice caps are melting, making our temperature hotter in the summer. Look at the sky buddy! Its freaking gray, and not because its cloudy, its super polluted. Thats disgusting. Global warming is destroying our O-Zone layer, little by little. The O-zone protects us from Harmful UV rays!!!! So yeah, that affects me a lot!

  Some of the examples of global warming that I am experiencing myself is 60 degree weather in February in PA! I don%26#039;t remember that ever except the last couple of years. The resevoir near my mom and dad%26#039;s house has dried up a significant amount and keeps getting lower each year. Plus we have reached more record high temps in these last several years than ever before. Some people don%26#039;t agree with all the hype about global warming but I definitely believe if we don%26#039;t change our ways it will become even worse than predicted.

The IPCC has a lot of data and predicitions for global warming and carbon dioxide emissions. Some things that are happening and will happen is the glaciers in the poles are melting. That is causing the sea level to rise, which will displace many things. The glaciers melting in the ocean is adding freshwater to the saltwater and it%26#039;s bad for some animals in the ocean. The hole in the ozone keeps getting bigger thanks to global warming and that will cause more Ultra Violet rays to get to earth, causing more skin cancer. The rays that make it to earth anyway are usually reflected by the ice back into space, but with that shrinking, the rays are being absorbed by the ocean, warming it. With the ocean warmed, it willl be hard for certain species to survive. The list goes on and on. What affects us is more wildfires, hurricans, tornados and floods.
