I am well aware that this is a problem spanning many years. What I am interested in are reports from last year. Because I have been reading a lot of contradictory material. Some of it is saying that the ice is refreezing, and in fact there is more of ice now than there was 20 years ago. This would be a substantial change and I would like to know if there is any truth to it6 months ago
I love how no matter how much I request for people to only post if they have sources and not to just give me their opinions, I still end up with most people just giving opinions without sources.and I always like to post this article from %26quot;Nobel Prize%26quot; winner John Christy, of Earth System Science Center at the University of Alabama in Huntsville and a participant in the U.N.%26#039;s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change------ and SKEPTIC

One year of glacier mass increased or decreased isn%26#039;t what we%26#039;re looking at here. It is a trend of what is happening, over a long period of time.

Refreezing? hell I thought they were like more than 50% gone! I hope they%26#039;re refreezing.
I gave up on following most of this when I realized that we%26#039;re pretty much screwed and won%26#039;t do anything about it either way ._. -
Good news doesn%26#039;t sell.

The glaciers can%26#039;t refreeze once the water melts because it flows to the sea. But both North and South Polar icecaps are freezing and growing, at record rates.
