I will pay if I have to. I have old monitors broken down to just the CRT%26#039;s. I believe these are hazardous and would like to recycle them - but where!? There is a website called Earth 911. Report Abuse $25 is too much. Most cities pick it up FREE twice per year so that people won%26#039;t improperly dispose them. In my locale, they charge you only $5 each if you bring them to the city dump. If a TV is still in working condition, donated it to be reused. Where I live lots of things can be recycled at our local recycling center run by the city. I%26#039;m sure there is one in your area. If they do not take them I%26#039;m sure they%26#039;ll know who will.
