Do people deny that John Coleman, founder of the Weather Channel, and Meteorologist, says GW is a lie?

    • Why would we deny it? He keeps saying it again and again. Despite starting the Weather Channel, John Coleman is merely an entertainer. He has no degree in meteorology or climate science. I think he may have minored in it. He is one of our local television weathercasters, and I can tell you that he often gets things wrong. He asks viewers a nightly multiple choice question and more than once I%26#039;ve had to correct him on the answer. Although founding the Weather Channel, which recently sold for a reported $3.5 billion, I believe he lost money on it. How smart does that make him?

EDIT: Dana, it%26#039;s not always fun and games for the meteorologists here in San Diego--they actually issued a tornado warning for the deserts last night. I guess I should have watched John Coleman to see if he noticed. 13% 2 Votes
    • John Coleman, John Christy and hundreds, possibly thousands of others. The others are silent because this retarded scam has threatened people%26#039;s livelihoods. It is very well known in the climate community that they will be ostracized if they do not cater to this AGW BS.

Kind of reminds me of the abolitionists who were kept quiet because fighting slavery was not %26#039;conducive%26#039; to business. THIS IS THE SAME THING! 13% 2 Votes
    • I don%26#039;t deny it although it would be easier for everyone if you would provide a link when making these sorts of statements.

Do you deny that George Bush said:
%26quot;I am a person who recognizes the fallacy of humans.%26quot;?

Humans didn%26#039;t disappear because Bush-baby said that, GW won%26#039;t disappear because a populist entertainer says it%26#039;s a lie. Oh, okay...

    • No. No one denies this; he did say that global warming is a lie. We also accept that he has no authority on the subject. John Coleman is not a climatologist, nor is he a meteorologist. He%26#039;s just some old rich businessman who now works as a TV weather anchor.

Edit. Colin, in order to sign the OISM Petition Project, one needs at least a B.A. degree in any science. John Coleman does not qualify. 13% 2 Votes
    • No. And no one gives a crap what he says. I can say the earth is flat, but that doesn%26#039;t make it so. Listen to someone who actually knows something, not some yahoo business man who knows nothing of the subject. Weather is not climate. BTW, does he even know anything about weather, or did he just help found a TV channel? 0% 0 Votes
    • No, I don%26#039;t think anyone denies he said something like that. What they deny is his expertise on the subject. He is not a climatologist. I don%26#039;t think he%26#039;s even a meteorologist. 6% 1 Vote
    • No.. its true. He even challeged Al Gores and his team of scientists to a debate. Al Gore refused. So supposedly he is suing AL Gore, so they can have a lawful debate. HA...

    • No, I don%26#039;t deny it. But why should I listen to a meteorologist for the Weather Channel over the many climatologists around the world? 6% 1 Vote
