we are in 2008 and there was b.c.and its been ok up to 70s .in the 50s we was on rasion books and not a pot to pee in. since money and modern tecnoligy took off in the 60s/70s factorys and cars lorrys etc has exchaneged our air for smog,,i believe its not to long now before we are extinct by our own tecnoligy.. we must blame the goverment for this as we have other clean methods of fuel but no money to be earnt in for them.I can put cooking oil in my car or lorry and bring my emmisions down to more or less nothing but to scared becouse i can go to prision for evading tax???????? DOES THIS SOUND LIKE A CARING GOVERMENT considering your tax will pay to keep me in there????? people should take it a little more seireus instead ov saying who cares its lovely weather, becouse its our kids or theres that will suffer not us.IT costs us nothing to help just time 3% 1 Vote

We have warmed out of the last extensive glaciation 10,000 years ago, and have warmed up from the %26quot;little ice age%26quot; in the middle ages.

No one doubts we have gotten warmer from these temperatures.

The question is whether mankind has a significant effect on global temperatures.

The answer is no one knows for sure. No sure enough to trash the world%26#039;s economy.

No one can explain the comings and goings of previous ice ages, so the best explanation is that whatever caused previous ice ages is causing the current cycle.

Why folks claim they understand the current cycle and none of the previous ones, is a mystery. The public is not that grossly stupid. 5% 2 Votes

  I don%26#039;t think anybody seriously believes global warming isn%26#039;t real or isn%26#039;t caused by humans.
  
  There are a lot of people who are in denial about the issue. They get their information from right-wing blogs, TV weathermen, right-wing think tanks, and the like.
