I am completely amazed that anyone with any brains and common sense can even entertain the idea that methane has anything to do with global warming. Don%26#039;t you people do any research into why it%26#039;s claimed that methane contributes to global warming. The truth is that it doesn%26#039;t. The weight of methane keeps it within the electrical storm region where it%26#039;s burnt by lightning. This process also enriches the ozone which in turn protects us from the sun%26#039;s harmful rays. In stead of reading and believing propaganda by the %26quot;global warming by humans%26quot; nuts and extend you research to other areas you will find that everything is going as it should and has been well before humans farted for the first time.
Look up and read about Venezuela%26#039;s Everlasting Storm for a start.

Cows aren%26#039;t usually kept as pets. They are grown to kill and make into yummy hamburgers. If people didn%26#039;t eat cows, they wouldn%26#039;t be around. I don%26#039;t know of many vegetarians who don%26#039;t drive vehicles, use electricity or any other material that was made by humans. Everything causes some CO2 emissions in its manufacturing. A metal fork has to be smelted from ore and mixed with coke (coal without any hydrogen in it) before it can become a fork. Then it has to be transported from Korea most likely to your house.

It might make some sense to stop growing new cattle, but if we just buy and eat beef to reduce the number of cattle on feedlots, we must not understand the economics involved.
Now, if we were to force down the price of beef and milk until farmers stop growing them, we can expect that the existing herds would be eaten... no need to make any decisions there.
But just eating all the farmers decide to produce? That sounds like a brilliant scam for farmers to promote.

Humans also give off methane gas, mostly from eating vegetables, And if you don%26#039;t eat the cows, how long will it be before there is no room for people because of the over population of those uneaten cows.
Look at what is happening in India.

Vegetarians help decrease global warming. This is because it takes 5x more energy to raise cows, cattle, etc then to make fruits and vegetables. And yes cows give of a lot of methane but that is not the main reason. I hope I have have helped you.

Vegetarians are bad for the environment because they exclusively eat the very plants that convert C02 to Oxygen. If you are a vegan and consider yourself an environmentalist, then you are a hypocrite.

One reason there are so many cows is that they are bred and raised for meat and dairy production. If there wasn%26#039;t such a huge meat industry, there wouldn%26#039;t be so many.
