Yes if you live in vulnerable areas. The so called one inch rise would be multipled by the tide. It would increase flooding and erosion in certain regions. Areas like Bangladesh would be more vulnerable to disasters. I think Miami is one of the vulnerable area. Atleast parts of Southern Florida. The problem may not be as dramatic as the Environmentalist might say, but there are cause to worry. Developed nations have recourse and may build sea wall to protect our cities, but you saw how effective the one in New Orleans were.
