Also it hasn%26#039;t been proven that humans are contributing to global warming, as there has been global warming in the past and warming trends are generally cyclic in nature, meaning there are periods of cold cycles and warm cycles. Infact the tempertures can vary wildly between years. For instance, in 1982 (I believe) on Christmas day in New Orleans the recorded temperture was in the 70%26#039;s, the next year the temperture was in the 20%26#039;s.
During our semester break, I went to talk to one of my chemistry professors about how I did on my final exam. One problem had to do with standard deviations, he said that most of the class didn%26#039;t do as well on it as he hoped, so he was going modify his lesson and showed me what he was going to do...and this is the relevent part. He is going to use temperture sets, and when he made up the graphs using data that was recorded for New Orleans, The best fit line showed a cooling trend for the last 30 years. (The %26quot;for instance%26quot; above was also the hottest day and coldest day on the graph, which I personally found quite interesting).
Edit: I don%26#039;t know where people get that we are running out of water, because we aren%26#039;t. The water that has been on this planet has been here for a good while. Seriously, the water that makes up my blood plasma could have once been peed out of a triceratops or something. There is something called the water cycle. 38% 3 Votes
