Does anyone think the Antarctic Iceberg was caused by Environmentalist? In Dr. Michael Crichton’s book %26#039;State of Fear%26#039;, environmentalist attempted to %26#039;calf%26#039; a massive iceberg by setting off explosives.

The plan was then to use this iceberg as proof that global warming was a problem that needed immediate action.

Do you think there%26#039;s any possibility that this is what cause the iceberg to form in Antarctica?

Was the man made cause the work of environmentalist? Do you think explosives may have been used? Re: the iceberg towing plan, a similar one was thought up in Australia ~20 years ago but soon dismissed, if you allow for the melt on the way the burg you have to start out with is so massive that no fleet of ships on Earth can tow it. Not to mention that bergs turn over several times as they melt. Report Abuse
