I am really poking fun at global warming more than anything
Modern economies are very fragile. If global warming affects crop yields and global economies, civilization could collapse and you%26#039;ll have no electrical power to run your refrigerator... no ice cubes. Of course ice cubes will be the least of your worries.

Already, according to Randall and Schwartz, the planet is carrying a higher population than it can sustain. By 2020 %26#039;catastrophic%26#039; shortages of water and energy supply will become increasingly harder to overcome, plunging the planet into war. They warn that 8,200 years ago climatic conditions brought widespread crop failure, famine, disease and mass migration of populations that could soon be repeated.
Randall told The Observer that the potential ramifications of rapid climate change would create global chaos. %26#039;This is depressing stuff,%26#039; he said. %26#039;It is a national security threat that is unique because there is no enemy to point your guns at and we have no control over the threat.%26#039;

My father-in-law was a meteorologist for the USAF. He may be an overbearing, arrogant pain in the fanny, but he%26#039;s not a stupid man. Climatic cycles are decades (nearly centuries) long. Yes, the last 50 years have shown a warming trend. And we will then cool off for a while... and then we will warm again, and then cool.

from the sea. Like when people collect sea water for, sea salt beds. Water drys up in the sea bed and leaves sea salt behind, to be collected and sold in stores. Why not collect the fresh water that gos up into the air and use it instead?
