Global Warming Raw Data? I%26#039;m in a statistics class and need to find a decent amount of raw data and do a trend analysis. I%26#039;d like the data to be simple, so I figured I%26#039;d take a look at temperatures over the course of the last few decades.

I figured it would be easy as pie to find since it%26#039;s such a hot topic... but I can%26#039;t find any! Am I not looking in the right places?

I%26#039;m just looking for something that says %26quot;year%26quot; and %26quot;temperature%26quot;... something that I can clearly say... yep this is showing a warming trend.

Does anyone have a link to such raw data handy? I find it perplexing that I can%26#039;t find such data, especially after seeing (and being alarmed by) An Inconvenient Truth. The data Gore cited has got to be out there, I just can%26#039;t find it!

Holy crap, I can%26#039;t believe I actually found usable data. I%26#039;m surprised it was that hard. Here%26#039;s where you can find some pretty good, hard data. If someone wants to respond with this hyperlink I%26#039;m about to give, I%26#039;ll give a couple points so people can link to this answer and HOPEFULLY become somewhere near the top of a Google search, in case people want to check for themselves. (Not sure if unanswered questions are removed from the system). Just respond to this answer... first one wins.
