Basically, global warming will tend to move the jetstream (and the boundary between warm and cold air) toward the poles. This will cause an increase of precipitation there, and a decrease in temperate areas, where most farming takes place. That will be bad for agriculture.

Global warming here usually doesn%26#039;t occur until late March / early-April. At that time, the precipitation is affected when the ton of snow we are getting turns into a ton of rain... Common sense...
