Global warming e.o.w?? Do you think the Mayans were right about the change of the world on 12/21/12? The melting of the caps would start a new era. Your opinions? What did the Aztecs predict??

I think it%26#039;s possible. Maybe the Mayans didn%26#039;t know about ozone, but the earth switches to an ice age naturally. They might%26#039;ve predicted the time it naturally switches which is when the ice caps melt. Atlantis resurfacing?

• The Mayans were obsessive with mathematics and calenders--they even correctly predicted eclipses 1000s of years in the future. Supposedly, in 2012 we are supposed to cross the galactic gravitational plane, which could potentially cause a pole shift--something we are overdue for anyway.

• The Mayans believed the world was flat, with 4 corners. Mayans believed that four jaguars, called bacabs, held up the sky. Each had a different color.
