Global warming in schools? What would the negative aspects of teaching Global Warming in schools be?

Serious answers only, please. I really want to understand why so many people are against it. Is it just because of the extra tax $$$ that will be required?

I%26#039;m really starting to believe that everyone is just in denial so that they don%26#039;t have to worry or feel guilty about leaving their computer running all freaking night %26amp; day long, or unplugging this or that while they are not using it.

How is this something you don%26#039;t believe in? This isn%26#039;t the tooth fairy. And even so, don%26#039;t you people watch the news? Practically every time I see a polar bear on TV I cry because I think about all of the ones that have drowned because of the melting of the ice. If you know that animals around the world are dying because of this %26#039;natural%26#039; climate fluctuation, what will it cost you to try and help in your own small way? And what about all of the natural disasters affecting our own fellow man? Does that also mean nothing to any of you?

A majority of people that disagree are from places that cannot really measure the amount of climate change that has occured in the places that are most important, because they either cant afford cable or other forms of media, showing the damage.

Rest assured, we have changed the world climate due to our energy consumption and reluctance to modify it. Most of the un-enlightened people that say that we have not had a negative impact upon on planet, due to the current and previous energy policies are really just wasted a lot of our fresh air due to the space they have between their ears.

  They just found Giant penguins that have been setting hair
  spray cans a blaze and having huge bonfires and wild party%26#039;s
  but when anyone flys over they have huge ice drilling
  machines that they use to hide under the polar ice,,,,,,
  There have been reports that some of the polar bears have
  become hooked on crack and are making bonfires and
  using used oil drums that where donated to the region for
