According to the IPCC reports, we must reduce the world wide output of carbon dioxide, a greenhouse gas to less than one tenth of what it is today, if we are to have any hope of stopping the man made component of global warming.That means if we are to have any hope of stopping global warming we must ban the use of all fossil fuels, that is coal, oil and natural gas for any purpose.
This will create quite a burden on businesses if we were to impose a world wide ban on the use of fossil fuels, bacause many businesses do nat have a substitute for the use of fossil fuels in their manufacturing processes. The IPCC reports.
