GLOBAL WARMING is nothing but more deposition of CO2 and other green house gases in the earth atmosphere. The main cause of global warming is due burning hydrocarbons,i.e. petrols, diesel, coals, methane etc. It can be stop by educating people,providing more and accurate knowledge about disadvantages of global warming, planting more trees,afforestation, using alternate fuels and renewable sources of energy(solar, wind, hydro), by waste management, changing conventional bulb to CFL, saving electricity (switching off TV, Laptop, mobile, freeze when not in use) etc.Government cannot do all, mass contribution also necessary.Although they can pass certain rules and laws for communities about dos and don%26#039;t s.

I am unconvinced that global warming, if it is taking place is necessarily human caused. Not everything can be controlled by legislation and mother nature may have the last laugh on this one. Even if it is taking place there may be nothing we can do about it. Some people feel that we are in another interglacial period and that the ice age will resume in the next 5000 years or so. 0% 0 Votes

Global warming ended about 70 years ago and has basically flatlined since them except for minor variations below the 1934 high. Recent studies by scientists not aligned politically with the limits to growth religious cult and their high priest have expressed worry over the current low level of sun spot activity! This if true could be a lot more serious than any further warming could possibly be. Every time there has been a long quiet period of solar activity it gets cold fast.

This leads to serious global cooling as happened between 1946 and 1958 and between 1970 and 1985, which were minor cooling periods. Or it could if extended become another little ice age like the one that extended from the middle 1300s through the middle 1800s that killed millions through starvation and disease, remember the black plague that devastated the world during that time!

GW is a natural part of our solar system, not a man made thing.
Cause is solar activity and the earths geothermal activity. Effects are warmer air temps, but not a warmer earth, ie all the mass of the land and waters contain more energy than the air, so air temp as little long lasting effects.
We can%26#039;t stop the sun or geothermal activity.
What do want the government to do, the correct or incorrect things. We are now on a road to do the incorrect things.

Global warming is a direct effect of exessive human activity and resulting %26quot;by-products%26quot; (greenhouse gases). There are only two ways to reduce this -- one we talk about, reduce our activity, ie, reduce out impacts on the environment. But the other, the far more reaching reason for global warming is NEVER really talked about but in passing -- and that is global over population. It does not really matter what we do to mitigate our individual impacts on the globe as long as we continue to expand the global population. Consider, if a million people reduce their impacts by 10% but have a 10% increase in population their net global impact increases.

For the globe to really tackle global warming it must first contain/reduce global population.

Since we live in an almost closed global system (only external input being solar energy) the system will, at some point, self correct to contain/reduce the global population. Drought, food shortages, disease, global pandemics, war over resources, -- something within the system will %26quot;correct%26quot; the problem.

Talk to any farmer or rancher -- they will tell you how many crops can grow well on how many acres, or how many cattle can be kept on a ranch. Exceed these limits and the crops and the cattle suffer and die.

So, your original question, how to stop global warming? -- the globe as a whole has to make a concerted effort to limit global population -- anything less than that is just chaff in the wind.

global warming is the global heat produced by harmful radiation of UV from the sun.The ozone layer is filtered some harmfull radiation. Now a days the the hydrocarbons, co2, methane etc creates holes in ozone layer It is caused by the humane activities, pollution from industries, vechiles, and incineration processes etc, 0% 0 Votes
