Is Global warming really going to melt the icecaps, just like what Al Gore said a year ago? I%26#039;m very scared of what happened during the movie %26quot;The Day After Tomorrow%26quot; because the water that melted from the icecaps in the north pole went up to the top of the Statue of Liberty.
2. The current temperature is MUCH more habitable than a cooler climate. The scare mongers are doing nothing more than trying to frighten you. Do not allow them to do it by lying to you. Which is what they do.
3. The sun controls whether the planet warms or cools. We can do NOTHING about it. Worrying about global warming is similar to worrying about a meteor destroying the planet. Sure it could happen, but the chance is so slim at to be immeasurable.

If you remember your history, check out the Vikings and their farming colony on Greenland back in around the year 800. A lot warmer back then. The interglacial warming period is over, it has generally (key word -- yes there has been short warm spells since) been getting colder except since the industrial age began in earnest in the mid-late 1800%26#039;s. Since then its getting warmer faster than any other known warming spell.
  • Yes and all the beaches will be gone and millions or even billions of people will be displaced.
  • Mr. Gore was right about many things -- look at his world wide web! He didn%26#039;t just invent global warming, it is reality.
  • I have not heard of any city complaining on the coast or beaches yelling help, have you
  • yes a high amount of it has already melted
