Is it fair we care for the environment? Do you think it%26#039;s fair this generation be responsible for protecting the environmnet? Why should we carry the burder of making the environment better for next generations if our older generation didn%26#039;t do the same for us?

Like everything else, earth will die one day, so why bother protecting it? Not that I want to advocate damaging the environment, but we shouldn%26#039;t worship it either.

The US, Chinese and Indian governments are on the right track not signing the Kyoto treaty. Why should world powers listen to some activits kids who want to change the global economic landscape with their unfounded theories about environmental damage?

Some have responded in a very rude manner. If you don%26#039;t respect opinons, I%26#039;m not sure if you respect the environment. Remember, I have said I%26#039;m NOT advocating damaging the environment. This is not a personal question. It%26#039;s a question whether something is fair.

  We should take measures to protect the environment, but we should balance these with economic considerations as well. We shouldn%26#039;t stop using oil completely just because CO2 might cause some degree of warming at some time in the future. Lets get confirmation before doing anything too drastic.
