yes, we are heading out of an ice age.
the globe may have warmed 1 degree the last 100 years, but the earth is only 0.5 degrees above the ideal temprature of the earth, the last hundered years of the earth%26#039;s temprature have not exactly been ideal. (see, Global Cooling, Little Ice Age) -
You have to specify a time interval to answer this question. It has been generally warming for the last 10,000 years but maybe not for 10 years and certainly not for 10,000,000 years.

No, the warming trend ended in 1998. Since then temperatures have cooled slightly.
