Is there a way to stop global warming?

Best Answer

you%26#039;d think there is.
People say that pollution and all that causes global warming, but the fact is even if we humans didn%26#039;t make pollution, global warming would still occur.
The sun is the main source that is going to cause global warming and we have nothing to do with how or what the sun does.
So don%26#039;t worry too much about it.
If global warming is going to happen then it%26#039;s gonna happen.
By the time it does happen u won%26#039;t have to worry about it because it can be centuries from now.

  • I don%26#039;t believe there is such a thing as global warming, Golbal pollution...sure, but not warming. The idea of humans destroying the earth%26#039;s atmosphere sounds like a realistic one but our rising seas and hotter climates is all the result of endless earth cycles of ages, Ice ages and so forth and now we are go through a heat cycle, we%26#039;ll have an ice age in the distant distant future and the cycle will start again. I believe in recycling and do my best as a vegetarian to not contribute to a huge carbon footprint, like eating meat that eat grains that could feed Africans plenty of times over. I think small things make a difference when they are being committed on a large scale, we can all stop global pollution, slowly but surely. As for Global warming as an effect of our actions, as far as I%26#039;m concerned theres no such thing.
  • NO. It%26#039;s natural. Whatever impact we have on earth is NOT comparable to what NATURE could do. Remember the Pinatubo Eruption?

Dont listen to whatever Al Gore says. It%26#039;s a lie. (I mean it%26#039;s entirely up to you.)

However, there is an inconvenient truth for Mr Gore: Astronomers have noted in 1998 that Triton, Neptune%26#039;s largest moon, seemed to have heated up significantly since it was visited by the Explorer space probe in 1989. Moreover, in 2002 it was reported that the temperature on Pluto had risen by two degrees Celsius in 14 years. Furthermore, in 2005 NASA confirmed that the CO2 %26#039;ice caps%26#039; near Mars%26#039; South Pole had been diminishing for three summers in a row. Warming, yes. Man-made? Certainly not.

shocking? GOOGLing is my life! So don%26#039;t take it away from me!!! waaahhhh!!!

    SO GOOGLE THIS:
    global warming%26gt;true or untrue
  • There may be. We might be able to supply a form of sun-bloc, a scattering of some inert reflective material above the earth%26#039;s atmosphere.

We get this effect when large numbers of volcanoes send a lot of volcanic ash far into the atmosphere.

It would be best to have GHG concentrations low at the same time.

If this is done late in the cycle, the effect could bring on an early ice age. This sounds bad, but it would prevent our going on to have a more major ice age a couple hundred years later.

But developing world wide consent to actually do this might be impossible.
  • Absolutely nothing anyone or any country can do to stop or even reverse it. It%26#039;s a natural cycle.
Sit back, relax, get some ice tea and enjoy the show mother nature is only now starting to put on.
And by the time she%26#039;s done doing her %26quot;thing%26quot;, there won%26#039;t be anybody around who remembers.
  • there isn%26#039;t a way to stop it but u can make it slow down bye not making any toxic gases another thing that can slow it down is bye not cutting down the tree.
  • Yes, nuclear winter.
  • nope
    its a cycle.
the majority isnt caused by man.
    some is
    not most.
