Ben O i am a skeptic too but i ask questions that get believers thinking and perhaps doubting
Best Answer
That%26#039;s not the least of it. There is no evidence at all that CO2 can cause a measurable amount of warming, but the political activists want to believe that it is immoral to doubt it.Other Answers (3)

No, skepticism is okay. What makes you look like holocaust deniers is the poor quality of your arguments. They are almost always uninformed, and often contradictory. The only conclusion one can make is that you are committed to not believing the science and are grasping to find ways to poke holes in it. For most deniers it%26#039;s about economics not science. They don%26#039;t understand the basics surrounding GW and their statements reveal it. But their fear of economic consequences is so strong that they are willing to attack the science despite not understanding it. Like I said, *committed* to not believing a strong science concensus. It seems radically disingenuous to me, and I hope you don%26#039;t forumlate your other opinions about the world like this-- decide what to believe, then search for evidence to support the belief. That%26#039;s the exact opposite of science.

You are simply wrong. Any survey of the scientific literature of the past 30 years would see much debate over various aspects of climate change. The scientific process is alive and healthy. What%26#039;s ludicrous is the surge of non-climate scientists who come along after the science is settled and ignorantly bring up the same questions (long ago dealt with and settled) over and over again.
Leave the science to scientists working in research facilities or major universities and publishing their findings in the peer reviewed scientific literature, not to science-for-hire individuals working for political think-tanks writing in blogs. -
I%26#039;m a pragmatist.
Most scientist believe there is a big problem.
I err on the side of knowledgeable people.
I look at it this way.
If we do nothing and there is a problem, we are killing ourselves.
If we do a lot, and there is no problem, we clean up our environment.
Look at it from all sides and common sense says we must take this issue very seriously.
It is easy to find information that %26quot;proves%26quot; global warming is a hoax, but on the other hand, it is also easy to find information that %26quot;proves%26quot; evolution is a hoax also. (or any number of controversial issues)
