here it is:
Earth
We treat you like our garbage can,
Little did we know, you had your own plan,
Global warming it what it’s called,
And scientists were definitely appalled.
Years by years, and you’ll get hotter,
Eventually, we might never see another otter,
Fortunately, there is a solution,
That will stop all of this nasty pollution,
Recycling is the best,
It is surely what I suggest,
Every single day, we should do this,
In a long time, we will look back and reminisce,
But if we do not realize the things we do,
Our time on Earth will eventually be way past due,
We all love the natural beauty,
And to preserve that is our duty.

yeahh, I know about the rhyming, but it%26#039;s my opinion that poems sound better when they do rhyme.4 months ago
Actually, small contributions such as recycling do help stop Global Warming. It was only an example.
Not many people would sacrifice their car, because it%26#039;s too far for them. I don%26#039;t want flattery, i want the truth.

I am going to be honest, not flatter you so i can get a best answer. The ryhming is great, but recyceling doesn%26#039;t help stop global warming, walking instead of using a car or planting trees do.

Your poem is not only brilliant, but it causes me to experience vascillations of emotions, at points I feel scared, at other points I feel the need to seek refuge, it is sheer beauty, and it should never, never be desecrated.

Earth, the green\blue thing we live on,
Earth, the thing you litter on.
Earth, the thing that you walk on.
Earth, the thing that one day, you will wish you cared for more.
Everyday we misuse our planet
And don%26#039;t give it a second thought.
Really beautiful planet, until we showed up.
The very thing that we should live to protect.
Has a purpose, and so do we. Protect our planet!
Earth. These are my poems. I wrote that second one a while ago. I call it %26quot;Ode to our planet%26quot; -
Although I like the sentiment, you sacrifice a lot for your rhyming scheme

Not bad but here%26#039;s a little info on the major cause for green house gasses. Garbage has very little to do with global warming, it all about carbon emissions. Carbon emissions come from primarily from coal burning electric plants and motor vehicles. Try googling the Kyoto International Conservation Treaty. this was a world wide proposal that the Bush administration killed in 2006 with one speech, the plans first step was to cut all power producing plant carbon emissions by 30% world wide. Even though protests where thrown all over the world against the US it%26#039;s the bigest political scandal the US citizens were never made aware of. In the UK they call Bush the Toxic Texan.
Just thought a little insite into the real science and political coruption that has burried it for 20 years might get you a better grade.
