Does the INCREASE in CO2 levels come primarily from burning fossil fuels?
Yes. Scientists have proven this by using isotopic ratios to identify CO2 from Fossil fuels.
Can water vapor cause an INCREASE in temperature?
No. Excess water vapor falls out of the air by precipitation, while excess CO2 stays there for years. More here:

Here%26#039;s soeme suggestions:
a) the Artic ice is melting. For the first time in history, the Northweest passage was open this year. And that melting is accelerating--over a million square kilomoters increase in open water this summer.
B) the oceans generally--and areas like the Gulf o fMexico specifically--are warming.
c) Glaciers--as in Glacier National park--are melting and are the smallest in history.
Also--depending on the format, yoiur opponet may bring up the %26quot;well , global warming is jsut a natural phenomenon. Here is the best answer I%26#039;ve heard:
True--some global warming events have been natural. That does not mean people don%26#039;t cause the current global warming--any more than the fact tha tsome forest fires are caused by lightnening (natural) means that careless campers never start forest fires.
Hope this helps. :) 0% 0 Votes
