This is the State of Georgia Environmental Protection Agency. There should be a searchable data base of places and providers who take recycled materials. They usually have a public outreach division that can help you get something going in your area. Usually this would be listed under the Solid Waste divisions. imho 50% 2 Votes

contact your city waste management inquiring what is already implemented and what steps needed to ba a greener city.
also..to reduce personal carbon footprint...think abut what is purchased and how you can reduce incoming containers/products that are utlized in your daily life. example we purchased an energy star refrigerator with ice/water dispenser with a filter...we use a reuasable washable drinking container to stop using 16 and 20 oz plastic water bottles that are recyled. conveniences creates wastes. its a lifestyle not a hobby for us.. this is personal suggestion. 25% 1 Vote -
I saved about 6 trash bags full of cans for almost 3 years. When I took them to a place for recycling I got about 35 dollars. Now you can think that it%26#039;s not a whole lot but I think of it this way, 6 bags of what might have been garbarge is now cash! Cash in my pocket!!!

with aluminum cans and tabs you can save those up and donate them. talk to the city about recycling and about helping the earth. im glad you are into this too.

well i dont know what you do but keep recycling keep doing things thats right and just recycle but i would if you have cans go to walmart and put them there i would that!
