No, the main argument is that excess CO2 is causing the atmosphere to retain more heat from the sun. Having solar panels would reduce the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere we are putting in it right now by giving us an energy source that doesn%26#039;t emit CO2, and that%26#039;s about it.
