What are the causes of global warming?

There are two main ones, the greatest cause is cyclical in nature, caused by an increase in sunpots due to a change in astronomical alignments. The one that most people think of is pollution by man, we can take care of one, but not the other, and yet we still cant get it together enough to even fight one of the causes, we rather slowly die from the posion we inhale daily.

I dont know how correct this is but this is what I saw on a cartoon.

The suns rays travel to earth and back again, but the greenhouse gases are trapping the rays when they reach the earth.

That doesnt sound 100% correct to me, but thats what I got from the cartoon lol.

So greenhouse gases is my answer.

Its a joke, I got the answer to global warming in my pocket. The Cause is pollution, smoke, factory%26#039;s, your trash, the dump, etc., when you burn something or throw something, your the cause of pollution.

Geothermal activity, evaporation of biomass, water vapor, and the sun for starters.

Pollution is not the cause; Give me a break.

Any possibility that simple variations in solar output could result in variations in temperature of the places on which that solar output falls, such as planet earth?
