PROPANE PROPANE IS A DOUBLE BONDED ALKANE HYDROCARBON AND WHEN BURNED IT RELEASES FORMS OF CARBON MONOXIDE WILL IS TOXIC TO HUMANS BUT HARMLESS TO OUR PLANET. NOW CHARCOAL IS SIMPLY SCORTCHED WOOD AND WHEN WOOD IS BURNED IT RELEASES CARBON DIOXIDE WHICH IS THE LEADING CAUSE OF GLOBAL WARMING. PROPANE IS MORE EVIROMENTAL FRIENDLY!

Propane. It burns cleaner. Charcoal makes more smoke and leaves residue.
But I won%26#039;t grill over propane. The emissions from my charcoal fire are miniscule. 13% 1 Vote -
Propane no doubt, but charcoal gives you a little more grill flavor, especially if you use some hickory chips too.
