Why is there so little public debate on such a supposedly crucial issue?Could it be because of the unmistakeable blatant liberal bias expressed by the liberal media? Are they even aware of their obvious bias? They seem to be well aware of a percieved conservative bias by Fox news. Are they so used to pointing their fingers that they don%26#039;t realize their own four other fingers pointing squarely back at them? It amazes me they have the nerve to even mention the word bias. Nevertheless, we are hearing less about AGW from all sides. Dana, I talk to people every day who feel global warming is a non-issue. It is clear by reading the posts on answers, that your assertion that %26quot;most people accept the science%26quot; is a total falsehood. Just because you say something enough doesn%26#039;t make it true, as many on the left are diluted into believing. It%26#039;s hard to change a mind that%26#039;s already made up. It is thus a unique phenomenon with all your well-funded data, overwhelming media and government support that there are so many skeptics left. In fact, it appears the numbers are growing. I%26#039;m a former brick mason and I know that every structure or idea requires a strong foundation. The foundation for AGW is a weak one. You guys should have dug below the frost-line because, it is clear your walls are beginning to crumble. Also, as more of the politicians try and enact these Carbon taxes, people will begin to realize the sham. Throw in the fact that the globe has been in a cooling phase for 10 years, and would appear to continue due to the sun, people will realize the lie.

Government and scientist both have conflicts of interest that may keep this myth alive of awhile.
The gvmt funds %26quot;global warming%26quot; scientist, essentially buying science form these people then using the data as an excuse to raise taxes and to limit individual freedoms.
The %26quot;scientist%26quot; now depend on this money as they have mortgages and kids to put through college. They have see what happened to their colleges who don%26#039;t give the gvmt the data they are looking for.
It won%26#039;t be until independent scientist, or more likely from scientist from other countries who will be making the break through discoveries that start to unravel the AGW fiction. If you want to call his statement %26quot;a total falsehood%26quot; please cite a similar study that refutes this one.
Without such a source your statement, like so many other statements from deniers, remains simply the personal opinion of just one person.

Jello, of course, still hasn%26#039;t moved on from 3rd grade geography - you know, the bit where they explain that America doesn%26#039;t equal the globe and vice versa... Jello, it%26#039;s GLOBAL warming; scientists from other countries have already looked at the issue. Hello!! It%26#039;s not just about you; it%26#039;s about all of us!
The foundation of AGW is in scientific evidence, not concrete. If you can%26#039;t understand it or refuse to accept it, that doesn%26#039;t make it any less solid. The opinions of experts trump the opinions of laymen.
