Where is the global warming everyone talks about? I do not fully understand the idea, but practicly speaking just wondering up hear in Chicago and at the brink of June we are still at about fourty degrees. I do not really know how or what this is other than pollution and such but usually we are at swiming temps by now. where the heck is the summer?

Cooling spells are caused by global warming. Its all part of the overall trend.

Got it....when it gets warm -- its global warming. When it gets cold -- its global warming causing a short term cold wave.

When its dry its because of global warming.... when it rains in record amounts and we get thunderstorms, hurricanes or tornadoes its because of global warming -- Got it.

When the earth had ice ages and warming periods in the past -- it was the result of a time warp that displaced todays man-made global warming and shifted it back in time to those bygone centuries.

• Ok, here is a practical example: as you mentioned, it was cold today in Chicago and it only got up to about 50 degrees, but a couple of months ago, on April 25th, it was 82 degrees! Do you think that means you%26#039;re not getting closer to summer? Of course not! But that is the same reason you%26#039;re using for not believing global warming. Global warming is a statement about average conditions on Earth over the long term, not what%26#039;s happening in the weather on any particular day. • frankly its not neccesary dat GW will effect ur area specifically,nor does it only mean rise in temp.it basically means slow change of the %26#039;%26#039;CLIMATE%26#039;%26#039; of an area not d weather global warming mainly affects the ice caps and deserts like for example ice caps in d xtreme north and south are meltin faster than usual ,UAE an almost desert country xperienced snow 3-4 ys back!!things like dat notice that winters may be cold but they are shotter.in india winter season is sept-march but dis yr winter started in november and ended in february 0% 0 Votes
