• %26#039;Who%26#039; as in nation? Well the human race excluding small tribes of Africa and Australia, are all causing global warming. But in terms of what countries or continents are leaders in causing global warming - it would technically be Europe and the USA

  This is a completely natural phenomenon which has been going on since there has been water on this planet. It is driven by the sun.

  becoming warmer and may return to the point at which Greenland is again usable as farmland (as it has been in recorded history).
  As the polar ice caps decrease, the amount of fresh water mixing with oceanic water will slow and perhaps stop the thermohaline cycle (the oceanic heat %26#039;conveyor%26#039; which, among other things, keeps the U.S. east coast warm).
  When this cycle slows/stops, the planet will cool again and begin to enter another ice age.

  The worrisome and brutal predictions of drastic climate effects are based on computer models, NOT CLIMATE HISTORY.

• it is no ones fault. this is a normal phase that earth goes through. there as been many ice ages. But I would say that we are speeding up the process. how much though I do not know

• GW is a scam. It is not true go measure the CO2 . The gas is not there. The oil Co. love how much money this has made them.
• We Canadians are major culprits, considering the major part our fossil fuels are playing. Not all of the fossil fuel is burned in Canada, we are however the largest single supplier of oil and gas to the USA, and a significant supplier of coal to China.
  
  We also purchase large quantities of Chinese and American products that are made with large amounts of fossil fuel. So indirectly we are responsible for a slice of American and Chinese emissions.
  
  We can salve our conscience by noting that within Canada itself we produce less than 4% of the world%26#039;s GHG. But we still produce (here) far more than our fair share of GHG.
  Canada on a per-capita basis is even worse than the USA, even though we lay the blame for some of our emissions on exports of fuels to the USA.
• The main culprits are the oil companies,and car makers. The reason not much has been done is the well financed %26#039;deniers%26#039; program.The oil co. have well paid scientist who are willing to prostitute themselves to push the myth that AGW is not happening. That%26#039;s why the US is the only hold out in the fight against AGW!

• Yes Vikin, blame the Americans. How typical. Maybe you should look at what countries began the industrial revolution and you%26#039;ll realize that their polution was essentially unregulated. There are still visual effects from pollution that occurred in Europe more than 150 years ago. Or how about China and India today? They have very few restrictions on to how or what they pollute. Compared to America, they are far worse. So yes, go ahead and blame the big bad America. I%26#039;m not saying we are free of blame for pollution, but don%26#039;t be an ignorant moron and say it%26#039;s the doing of one country just because it happens to be the largerst prosperous nation on earth.
