• Denier is a little name calling. And it%26#039;s hard to see why you are called a denier without knowing the context. Which parts of scientists understanding of global warming are you skeptical of?
  
  To properly be a called a denier, you need to deny the facts that have been collected (particularly if you don%26#039;t have any counter-measurements). A skeptic would look at the same facts and ask if there could be another reason for them.

• Because people like Dana and Bob can%26#039;t stand the fact that that someone dare dispute evidence they present with their own evidence that is as strong or stronger in opposition. They%26#039;re so ignorantly, arrogantly, and pathetically stuck in their ways, pardon the reference to the bad song, but blind themselves with science. And by science, I mean their own breed of cherry picked information that tends to exclude anyone who makes a valid point on the other side. I don%26#039;t advocate taking a position on either side until thoroughly examining information presented by both sides because that%26#039;s pure ignorance, but if you have, I commend you for not buckling to weak information and pressure given by political bullies and hacks such as them.
• The reason they (meaning AGW proponents) call you a denier is to try and link you to the Nazi deniers. Realize they only do this because they need to attack your character and not your ideas. They can not debate on facts, so they use intimidation and character assassination.

  Its a pretty harsh thing to call someone that thinks for himself and doesnt just take everything they are told on face value like some kind of mindless drone (its a sign of inteligence). Fact is denier is a bully tactic because your questioning something that fits with their world views i.e. man is bad, oil is bad etc...tends to come from environmentalists, though any true environmentalist should look at both sides of the argument as the rushed fixes to reduce co2 are the things that will end of damaging the environment! Biofuel is a good example of that

  In the past it has always been the skeptics that revolutionised scientific views, some crazy skeptics questioned the world being flat, the sun revolving around the earth, one even had the cheek to say god didnt make life on earth! Imagine if they never spoke up, we would still be in the middleages.

  I was taught as school that oil would run out in 2006 - were they right? Nope but that was the concensus back then. In 1975 all those clever scientists thought we were going into an iceage, they were right wernt they? Oh no ice outside my window I guess scientists can get it wrong! Then there was a millenium bug etc....Just pull out an old New Scientist mag and read through articles, many will now seem silly with hindsight

  I care for the environment so its not that I question the theory of AGW to destroy the earth! I do it because I think to much about things and I am driven by a continuous curiosity to understand everything around me

• Crazy got it right. They think they are cute linking all those who think America isn%26#039;t responsible for all the world%26#039;s problems with Holocaust deniers. I have explained to Dana the scientific facts, yet he denies them and prefers to live in his leftist fantasies. The holocaust was perpetrated by those with much more in common with the left. For them to link skepticism of man-made harmful warming with killing Jews is offensive and despicable. It is more proof that global warming is more about politics than science. How else would I know that Bob, Dana, etc (sorry if I left some obvious examples out) are way out in the left field leftists.
