Why do some people think we urgently need to stop using fossil fuels? There are still hundreds of years of oil left in the ground at our current rate of consumption. Why give it all up and change to something else? Is it because Al Gore said to in his global warming info.?

*Hannah%26#039;s Grandpa...there is no shortage of oil. We have enough for at least the next few hundred years. I agree that smog is, but it%26#039;s a local thing like weather and we have no alternatives in place.
