Anyone familiar with micro-hydro power? I was wondering if I could charge batteries while I water my yard.

If you took a hose and elevated it to pour the water into a tank and then ran a micro-hydro collector underneath it as the water was distributed to your yard you could do it. Nothing is for free though in energy terms. This way you would take advantage of the energy available because we have a pressurized water main system and you would transform that enegy into electicity through energy being transmitted from the potetial energy collectd in elevating your water.
