Are movie theater cups recyclable? I work at a cinema and we go through heaps of trash every single day. Does anyone know how we can become more environment-friendly?

The cups are just hard paper, right? Or is it cardboard or plastic? What material is it commonly and is it recyclable, if the drink is cleaned out?

Also, since popcorn bags have butter in them and food, does that mean we can%26#039;t recycle them since the food leftovers will produce a poor-quality product if recycled?

And then we have these Kiddie Combo trays that are just made up of thin cardboard, where one side of it has popcorn in it. Is that recyclable at all?

Any help would be awesome.
Thanks!
p.s. Do you think I%26#039;d get better answers if I directly ask the producer of these products? Or are they generally the same material at most theaters?
