Can household batteries be recycled , and where can l find a recycling facility?

They can, and should, be recycled. Do not put them in general waste as they would then go to landfill. Which is not good. Different facilities are available for batteries, it depends on where you live - contact your local council for advice.

thanx , emailed my local council for advice and found out they have a disposal facility just down the road! :)
